The three artifacts can be linked together through the theme that revolves around the day I received my black belt. The day I received my black belt it meant that I could help teach at the gym. Being able to teach younger children and lead the class in stretches was an important part of my past because I've always looked up to the higher belts and wanted to acheive that goal ever since I joined karate. Coming to college and joining the Education L.L.C was like getting the 2nd stripe on my black belt. By coming to college and taking the steps to become a teacher and a leader it is taking me further in achieving my goal of becoming a teacher. For my future the third and final stripe on my black belt is when I get my own classroom and reach my goal.
